Before creating a listing

How can I publish a listing?

You need a user account in order to publish a listing on ImmoScout24. Do you already have an account? Then you can simply log in using your username and password.

In which formats must photos and documents be uploaded?

  • Documents (PDF and DOC) may be a maximum of 10 MB per file.
     
  • Videos may be up to 15 minutes long and can be uploaded via YouTube.
     
  • Photos (jpg, gif, png) may be a maximum of 8 MB in size or up to 1600 × 1600 pixels.

Creating a listing

How can I upload images?

  • Use the “Select images” button to choose the desired image from your computer.
     
  • Click “Open”.
     
  • Add a title and a description for the image.
     
  • Upload additional images following the same steps.

How can I publish my listing in multiple property categories?

Would you like to publish your listing in an additional property category? In that case, you must create a separate listing. The new listing will also be charged at the standard rates.

What should I keep in mind when selecting “raised ground floor” as the floor level?

If you would like to specify “raised ground floor”, you can enter this under “Features and equipment” (on the “Key data & price” page). Otherwise, you can only select floors from the 1st to the 20th floor. If a property exceeds 20 floors, you should definitely mention the floor level in the title and/or description.

How and when can a listing be submitted for publication?

A listing can be submitted for publication once you have completed the billing address details. After doing so, click the “Publish” button.

How long does it take for my listing to go live?

Listings are carefully reviewed before publication in order to prevent fraudulent activity. Depending on workload, this process may take up to two working days. Once your listing has been approved and published, you will receive a confirmation email.

Can I check the status of my listing?

Yes, you can view the status of your listing at any time. The following status options are possible:

  • Draft: The listing has been created in your user account but has not yet been completed and/or published.
     
  • Under review: Shortly before publication, your listing will have this status. While it is under review, it cannot be edited temporarily.
     
  • Published: Once your listing has been published, you can edit or delete it at any time. With this status, it is online and accessible at all times.
     
  • Archived: The listing is offline. However, it can be republished for a weekly flat fee.

How long will my listing remain online?

You can decide how long your listing should remain online on ImmoScout24. In general, your listing will stay online until you delete it.

Can I make free changes to an existing listing?

Yes, changes to an existing listing are possible and free of charge. Updates are processed several times a day. However, the property address can no longer be changed once the listing has been published.

Where can I delete or edit my listing?

Active and archived listings, as well as drafts, can be managed in your user account.

Can I copy my listing?

No, it is not possible to copy your listings.

Can I archive or reactivate my listing?

Yes, you can archive or reactivate your listing. Once you delete your listing, you have the option to archive it for future use. When reactivated, the listing will be charged again. In addition, the property reference number of your listing will change.
